The University of Alabama Retirees Association (TUARA) serves as a vital advocate and resource for current and prospective retirees of The University of Alabama. TUARA is dedicated to identifying and addressing retirement-related issues that impact the well-being of its members, evaluating their effects, and keeping stakeholders informed. The association actively engages with University leadership, the state legislature, and other relevant bodies to protect and enhance retiree rights and benefits. In addition to its advocacy efforts, TUARA proudly supports the University’s broader mission in teaching, research, and service.
